Water Casting workshop - 29th Mar 2025

Water casting is so much fun. Melting silver (safely) before pouring it in to water, to see what organic shapes you get is addictive. And, the best bit is, if you don't like the casts, you can melt them down and try again!

In the morning we will melt lots of scrap silver to create a range of water casts. You'll then choose your favourites to make up into a pair of earrings, pendant, ring etc. It's entirely up to you want you make from them (within reason).

Some previous experience in jewellery making is preferred, but not necessary. 

What’s Included?

Silver will be charged on the day, based on how much you use. We will aim to make a pair of earrings and a ring or pendant. Cost for this would be approx £8-£16

Refreshments 

A selection of tea and coffee will be provided, as will a mini roll or two.

Please bring your own packed lunch or there are a variety of shops nearby.
