Anodised Aluminium Jewellery Workshop

10 am – 4 pm ish... you'll love this workshop so much you won't want to go home!

This is one of my favourite workshops. I love experimenting with colours and textures and the end results are always stunning.

In the morning we will learn about how to colour anodised aluminium using a variety of techniques. We'll blob with alcohol inks, we'll scribble with some pens and we'll stamp with the rubber stamps, before adding a bit of extra colour with the dye. I'll then have to persuade you to pack up for lunch, as you'll be having so much fun!

After lunch we'll then transform your aluminium pieces into fabulously colourful jewellery you'll love to wear. There's a few easy methods to making pendants and earrings, but I'll show you a range of techniques. You'll go home with a selection of pendants, earrings and cuffs.

Using a range of jewellery techniques, you will learn:

• Colouring
• Sealing
• Cutting
• Texturing
• Forming
• Filing
• Finishing
• as well as how to continue at home

Refreshments 

Tea and coffee, including normal and decaf as well as a few fruit teas, are provided and there are always some cake bars close to hand!

Please bring your own packed lunch or alternatively there are a variety of shops nearby.
